Si: I'm not so sure that was the best sequence of play you pair could have chosen. Look at the diagonals! I'll have to close an obvious MC chance for one or more players by playing a remote hop-strile at Elstree and Borehamwood
Blob: And back to Angel shunting Hugo to Canary Wharf where he cannons off Kevan out to Prince Regent, Kevan being tupped to Cutty Sark. It's very slippy round there at the moment isn't it !
Betty: oooooh!difficult!! I see we have some very experienced players. I shall avoid the very easy quarter twist clockwise with inverted pike on the Jubilee - so you can hang on to your beige tokens ..... Arnos Grove
Hugo Rune:Cockfosters, from where things can only get better.
Doris:Camden Town from where things can only get worse for the rest of you!
JLE: And for you as well. Euston, with a reflecting driveback aimed northwards. Consider yourself at East Finchley.
Doris: totally naive Jonathan, you forget the beige tokens(thanks Betty). huffing thus takes me to High Barnett puttin you in high dudgeon.
JLE: [Doris] no indeed. Chalk Farm, bulkheading Kentish Town and cutting you off. You'll have to play an overhead strile to get out of there, and yes that *does* cost beige tokens. Or didn't you realise that I (and most other players here) are entirely smart enough to realise that one-punch "combinations" don't actually do any worthwhile damage? If you think any of us are naive, with the possible exception of the fictitious Cibber, you're in for a very long and very hard lesson...
Gramit:East Acton, power cut on the Central Line west of here (sorry Muddy, but at least no-one else if affected so that's ok isn't it?). [Doris] watch out for the established regulars - they've memorized Ruttsborough's history.
Hugo Rune: Got some work to do restabilising the Jubilee, it would appear: Swiss Cottage for now. [Doris] Easy mistake to make, of course, but do take care. JLE was quite lenient, all things considered...
Doris: Hainault (HR)then simply they should get out more.
Isegrim: Just one moment. Hasen't anyone noticed the open signels down the circle line? And that combined with the truncated parallels would see to take me all the way too... Oh look. Mornington Crescent
MC Server: Game won by Isegrim.
Si: Well. I must say that was a sloppy finish by all involved. Not usually one to criticize, I must say that there are a few moves there that were a little careless. All credit, however to Isegrim, who did what I should do sometimes when endgame is approaching and kept his big mouth shut. Congrats. First Win?
Isegrim: Indeed it was, but I'm sure there was a lot of luck involved. I didn't think the inverstion token would really pay off, but I think that the interactions between Doris and JLE which followed it must have distracted everyone from it effects.
