• Rosie: (Goueznou) - Just wondered how you pronounced your monicker, should I ever need to get it right. V gentlemanly to insert a "u" in That Word, BTW. :-)
  (INJ) - Eh? Don't geddit.
• Goueznou: [Rosie] Well, Goueznou is a Breton name, which I chose for its distinctiveness and rarity, and I'm not too familiar with the Breton language, but I think it's roughly "gwezz-noo". It may actually be a French spelling of the Breton name, if that helps.
• Phil: [Goueznou] Isn't it also Brecon's twin town?
• Goueznou: [Phil] I thought you were joking, somehow, but it looks like there is a town called Gouesnou which is twinned with Brecon.
• I Say, Porter!: [Rosie re: c***] Lovely (although I was half expecting a transcript of a certain Derek and Clive exchange). I was particularly amused by the alternative version of the "insult me again" button.

• Merlyn: Well there wasted a good hour when I should have worked. What fun! I'll try episode 2 tomorrow.
• I Say, Porter!: Epic coaster. WARNING: you may find this more addictive than it looks at first glance.
• Phil: [IS,P!] seeing onemorelevel.com took me right back to an old favourire Le Chat Noir which many claim to be virtually unwinnable. I just played 10 games and lost only 1, and that was through clumsiness.
• Merlyn: This is quite amusing if you like music - don't worry about the french at the beginnning.
• Rosie: (Merlyn) - Thanks for that; brilliant.
• Merlyn: I've see le Chat Noir before and have occasionally mamanged to win it, but usually not - is there a strategy to use?
• Rosie: I've been on one of these. Notice how it gallops. Hardly a steam test, with no train, but presumably to see if it stays "on the road". Speed on the last bit about 55 mph. Just look at those little wheels go.
• Phil: [Merlyn] Play from the edge of the board, build a wall with one space gaps, then close them as the cat nears them. Try to avoid chasing the cat, and build traps in the direction it's heading.

• Phil: Great review of the unfortunately-titled film, "The Last Airbender"
• Simons Mith: The original anime is really rather lovely, though. Even if the 'bender' lines are just as prevalent.
• Phil: I'm considering going to see it, just to see how bad it is...another entertaining review, this time from that worthy publication, The News of the World
• I Say, Porter!: [Phil] Surprisingly entertaining review. Probably a sight more entertaining than the film. Rather you than me, mate.
• Goueznou: [Simons] I just feel compelled to point out that Avatar: The Last Airbender is not technically anime, as it was created and produced in the United States. It's considered "anime-influenced animation", if that isn't too recursive for you (considering the etymology of the word anime).
